About us

Australian removals since 1999

Conroy has been moving Australians across town, between states and overseas for decades. In 1999, we opened our first branch in Brisbane with four trucks and a storage facility. We soon became true Australian removals specialists offering a full suite of services to private, corporate, government and trade clients.
 
Having roots in Conroy NZ, we took what we’d learned and applied it to the Australian market. That was a passion to do things right, to learn from the mistakes we had made and become a high quality operator. For our customers, that meant doing good work for a fair dollar.

FIDI Global Alliance (FIDI)

FIDI is the global alliance of professional international moving and relocation companies, specialised in moving household goods and personal effects from one country to another, from one continent to another, according to the best quality standards. We are accredited with the quality standard FAIM (FIDI Accredited International Mover). It is the only quality standard for the international moving and relocation industry, recognised worldwide.

International Association of Movers (IAM)

IAM is the moving and forwarding industry’s largest global trade association. With more than 2,000 members, it comprises companies that provide moving, forwarding, shipping, logistics and related services in more than 170 countries. We are accredited with the innovative designation as an IAM Trusted Moving Company constructed to enhance the integrity of IAM members.

British Association of Removers (BAR)

BAR is based in the UK and is dedicated to promoting excellence in the removals industry for the benefit of its members and customers. It represents over 500 of the UK’s leading professional removal and storage companies.

Pan American International Movers Association (PAIMA)

PAIMA is an exclusive association that represents member companies from the Americas and other key areas of the world.

Euromovers

Euromovers is a network of over 70 experienced and reliable moving companies located throughout Europe, United Kingdom, United States, Australasia, The Russian Federation, China and numerous other countries.

Australian Furniture Removers Association (AFRA)

AFRA is an official body of removals experts that help regulate the Australian removals industry. For the public, AFRA is the vehicle that offers protection and guidance. For its members, AFRA offers training, information, guidance and keeps us up to date with the latest legal and industrial changes.

Australian International Movers Association (AIMA)

AIMA was established in 1975 as a professional forum for the international removal industry, within the framework of which its members work towards continuous improvement of the industry’s standards and service provided to the public.

Australian Movers Group (AMG)

AMG is Australia's largest independent moving alliance with fully operational branches in all capital cities and strategically located regional centres. Conroy Removals are the proud partner company in Brisbane and Darwin.
