Shipping methods

International relocation shipping methods

There are several different shipping methods for international relocations. You can choose the method that best suits your requirements, budget and time frame. Understanding how each different method works will allow you to make a better informed decision about your international relocation.

The options include:

Container sea freight

If you choose this method, your goods will be loaded into a shipping container and dispatched on the first available conveyance. You have the flexibility and surety of being advised of pre-scheduled shipping dates and details.

Economy container sea freight

This is similar to sea freight, but your goods are loaded into a shared container with other goods. You only pay for the space your goods take up, making this method cheaper than normal sea freight. The disadvantage with a shared container is that it isn’t always possible to advise your shipping date as they are subject to a container being filled to capacity.

We can provide you with an estimated door to door transit time based on historic activity. However, your shipment may arrive sooner or later depending on the level of market demand to your destination at the time.

We provide regular economy shared container services for the following popular destinations:

LCL Sea Freight

With this method, we place your items into a crate which is then placed into a shipping container with other commercial commodities bound for the same destination. It gives you the flexibility and surety of being advised about pre-scheduled shipping dates and details.

Air freight

If you need to get goods to your destination fast, we can air freight them as individual loose packages for a small shipment or packaged onto a pallet for larger shipments. Air freight is a more expensive method for shipping.
